Brawler (Anchor Town)

Wallace Brawler trainer on Anchor docks

Go to Anchor Town Beach / port docks.
Find the fishing shop that sells rods and worms.
Talk to Wallace training behind/beside that shop (red trainer marker).
Pay 250 Gold to learn Brawler.

Novice Swordsman (Anchor Town)

Anchor Town Novice Swordsman / Shiro route

Start near Captain’s Brat and the fruit/vegetable stall.
Jump the wall behind the stall into the Pond.
Talk to Shiro.
Pay 250 Gold for Novice Swordsman (Logbook base name).

Trickster secret route

Trickster is the only style that needs a chain. Do not climb the Ferris wheel first.

Loki at Anchor Town Plaza

First Loki (Anchor Town): Sitting by the shoreline / harbor near Nessa and the wardrobe / port. Complete his live quest objectives.

Afuaru the Hoarder Logbook drops for Pickpocket and Pocket Sand

Hoarder drops: Defeat Afuaru, the Hoarder in Anchor Town until you obtain and learn both Pickpocket and Pocket Sand. Creator-reported drop chance is about 10% each — budget multiple kills.

Clownival Ferris wheel area for second Loki

Second Loki (Clown Town): Sail to Clown Town, enter the carnival, climb the Ferris wheel using wooden beams, and talk to Loki in a carriage near the top.
Pay 1,000 Gold to finish the Trickster unlock.

If Anchor Loki or the skills are incomplete, Clown Loki may not spawn or will not offer the buy — guides agree on this order.

Marksman (Maple Village)

Marksman trainer dialogue with Captain Esopo

Sail to Maple Village when your leveling route reaches the ~70+ band.
Enter via the docks and push toward Rocky Shores / Beast Wreckage slope.
Find Captain Esopo in the corridor who offers to teach aim — use the Talk/train prompt, not the raid/fight prompt on the nearby combat Esopo.
Pay 1,000 Gold for Marksman.

How to equip Fighting Styles

Buy ≠ equip. Paying a trainer unlocks a style on your account; it does not always switch your active M1/M2. Equip from the Closet (wardrobe) in Anchor Town.

Go to Anchor Town Plaza and find the Food Fod / Food Foo building (sign spelling drifts) near the Aria singer NPC. Alternate landmark: the wardrobe near Nessa by the harbor if that closet is still live on your server.
Take the stairs on the right into the upstairs closet room.
Stand at the Closet and press E when you see the Change Fruit/Fighting Style prompt.
In the Closet menu, open the Fighting Styles tab (same Closet also stores Devil Fruits — do not stay on the Fruits tab).
Select an unlocked style from the list, then confirm with Equip. Your M1 / M2 animations update immediately when the swap lands.

If the E prompt is missing: stand closer to the Closet mesh, leave any held fruit UI, and rejoin if the Closet room failed to load. Wrong tab trap: the Closet also stores Fruits — switch to the Fighting Styles tab before Equip or you will change fruit, not M1/M2.

Styles vs fruits: Fighting Styles and Cursed Fruits are separate. Equipping a style never replaces your fruit; fruit skills stay on their own keys. Style mastery tracks on its own.

HUD note: The bottom-right Equip: V bind is for held items/weapons — not the Closet Fighting Styles swap. Use E on the Closet for styles.

Soft / hard stops

Soft stop: Brawler + Novice Swordsman owned and equipped once.
Hard stop: All four live styles owned; Blackleg ignored.
Never: Sail to Clown Town for Trickster before both Hoarder skills are learned.

FAQ (equip)

I bought Marksman (or another style) but I still punch like Brawler — why?
Purchase only unlocks the style. Open the Closet Fighting Styles tab and Equip it — see How to equip Fighting Styles.

Does buying a style auto-equip?
Not reliably in Early Access. Always confirm in the Closet after a trainer purchase.

Is this Blox Fruits?
No. Grand Blue (Roblox) by Eternal Pose is a different experience — Fighting Styles here use the Anchor Town Closet, not Blox Fruits trainers.

Still unknown

Pickpocket / Pocket Sand drop rate (~10% creator-reported; Bloxodes says not officially established).
Whether some trainers auto-equip on purchase in a later patch — Closet Equip remains the reliable swap.
Blackleg return timeline unknown — currently unavailable.
