How Fighting Styles unlock
Styles are trainer purchases, not Customize Character rolls. Fruits still fill separate skill keys; styles + weapons drive M1. For the illustrated path with landmarks, use /guides/fighting-styles-unlock.
Equip rule: After purchase, open the wardrobe/closet Fighting Styles section — buy may not auto-equip.
- Brawler — Wallace behind the fishing shop on Anchor Town docks · 250 Gold (usual first style).
- Novice Swordsman — Shiro at Anchor Town Pond (jump the wall behind the fruit stall near Captain’s Brat) · 250 Gold.
- Marksman — Captain Esopo trainer in Maple Village Rocky Shores / Beast Wreckage corridor · 1000 Gold (Talk prompt, not the fightable Esopo).
- Trickster — finish Anchor Town Loki + learn Pickpocket and Pocket Sand from Afuaru, then Loki on the Clown Town Ferris · 1000 Gold.
- Equip from wardrobe/closet. Pair styles with weapons and fruits — do not invent skill names from rival guides.

Is Blackleg obtainable?
