Where this comes from
| First-party | Roblox Eternal Pose EA listing describes hourly fruits and fruit mastery saving on swap. |
| Multi-source | Calvin dig route agrees across games.gg, NerdSchalk, Item Level, and Roonby; rarity table from grandblue.wiki + BloxInformer; tiers from Sportskeeda/Beebom/Bloxodes. |
| Our own runs | Key frames from Pot Guy, Radex Tips, and Roblox Game Guides YouTube how-tos — synthesized multi-video steps, not a frame-by-frame recap. |
| Unknown | Whether eating permanently blocks swap (tertiary guides) vs official mastery-saves-on-swap; live code validity. |
Why Calvin first
Calvin’s dig quest is the only early route that multiple beginner guides treat as one-time, free, and marker-guided. Codes can hand a Fruit Chest when live, but they expire. Hourly tree spawns are real and worth grabbing, yet they are a poor main plan for minute one.
Decision: finish Calvin before you sail away from Anchor Town.
Wizard’s Apprentice (numbered)

- In Anchor Town, look for raised stone platforms behind houses / near the blacksmith — Almighty Calvin stands up high.
- Talk to him and accept Wizard’s Apprentice (also written Wizards Apprentice in some UIs).

- Get the Rusty Shovel: guides place it on the ground under his platform or sold on that pillar for about 25G — grab it before digging.

- Follow quest markers and dig every buried object the quest requests. If a dig spot ignores you, some guides say hit it with a Strong Punch first, then dig again.

- Return to Calvin, claim Calvin’s Treasure, and open it from inventory for a random Cursed Fruit.

After the first fruit
| Lane | When to use it | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Hourly plants | Every XX:00 while exploring | Free; Uncommon is still a full skill bar |
| Fruit Chests (money) | After you have spare Gold | Bundles 1/3/10/20/40/100 listed on BI (e.g. 1,200G → 98,000G) |
| Celestial Coin shop | Purple ! quests + Achievements | Save for larger bundles when farming seriously |
| World bosses | Hourly on the hour | Chests + coins when you can survive the fight |
| Codes | Title screen | Aux only — see codes-aux.md |
Eating rules that matter
- Empty skill bar? Eat what you got. Spin or Cannon is fine for Anchor Town.
- Already holding Rare+? Prefer the higher band when the only action is eat-or-lose.
- Flame or Darkness? Keep and build around it.
- Mastery: Eternal Pose / wiki wording — fruit skill levels save per fruit when you swap. Contested permanence claims stay in unknowns.
Soft stop: Calvin’s Treasure opened and a fruit equipped.
Hard stop: You also know the hourly plant habit and will not spend every coin on 1x chests.
Soft warnings
- Do not trade a Celestial pull on a 10-player server to a stranger.
- Do not skip Calvin because a code “might” give a chest later.
- Do not build a farm around island RNG alone.
Still unknown
- Fruit permanence vs swap — prefer official “skill levels save per fruit”; flag games.gg/NerdSchalk permanent-bind wording.
- Exact dig-object names and count (often “four buried shells/objects”) may vary with live quest text.
- Fruit Trader prices and locations not fully tabulated.
